It really was a good time, and being there when Willie found out about his new machine was priceless. I do hope that we can do it again sometime, the time just flew by. Next time we have to spend the whole day together and I would be happy to host a mini convention at my place

I have meet with and talked with members outside of the posts and it is a real treat talking with people who have dissimilar backgrounds, work, environment but similar passions. I would recommend meeting with any member at anytime, we have a common love and enough differences and points of view it is a real good experience.

Yes Dawn, you all got me on the machine thing. I was stunned!! When it finally hit me, as to what John was saying, I could feel a lump in my throat!! As far as having another one, I'm all for it. Yesterday was such a blast, that I'm still telling people about the AWESOME friends I met and how I look forward to seeing you all again!!!

When you decide you're going to the Park City mall, I expect a call. We will visit here for awhile, and than head over to Hot Z Pizza, and dinner is on me!! The food there is very good, but not as good as your diner. Oh, and I'll introduce you to Dallas and Dora. (my kids).

Great stories! I'm heavily involved in an adventure motorcycle forum and have enjoyed meeting the real people behind the avatars across many miles for almost a decade. It's a nice feeling connecting with people of similar interests. Motorcycling has brought us together, but often we find we have more in common and lasting friendships have developed. We have shared awesome times, as well as the sadness of the death of a comrade.
With my being from PA, I hope to tag along if another mini PA convention occurs.

Mark, I'm sure I can speak for the others, when I say that you'd be more than welcome to join our next "convention". As you know, it's always great to meet new friends, and to be able to put a face to the name. The invitation to come to visit me if you are ever in Lancaster, goes for you too. My home is always open to new friends.

Thanks Randomtask I was thinking of how this hobby reminds me of traveling on motorcycle, (Goldwing) when we pull into a gas station, bar, store whatever and other motorcyclists are there we instantly start up a conversation that can last minutes or hours even, same thing with the classic cars, except there are some real lunk heads with too nice of cars and too little manners out there. Nice to see we have another 2 wheeler among us.
