Julie is here!!!

Julie arrived today and is all unpacked and set up temporarily in my den. Alex helped me get it into the house, but that's about it, he sure is having fun with the bubble wrap though First, I have to thank Mr. Arby again for the beautiful Star Wars, so shiny and new (new looking anyway). I can now appreciate first-hand, the Arby difference. Julie is a great looking machine and it arrived well-packed and intact...but it needs to be cleaned thoroughly. There is a lot of yellowing and it is just simply filthy. I however, am up for the challenge of making it sparkle It is on right now and the light show is brilliant. I only let a few balls fall so far because when the sound kicked in, I had an experience that was similar to a scene in a Michael J. Fox movie when he plugged his guitar into an amplifier and the sound blew him across the room To be continued...

Yes, there is a difference when you buy Pachinkos from different Suppliers.........

Thats why I buy from a trusted source I don't like to spend my Precious Pachinko Time cleaning!!!

but you got yours for a really great price - so a little cleaning and polishing will be worth it in the end.........

I'm in the middle of something big on the Julie...but not sure what it is as I've never experienced a Pachinko "Fever". The lights are going wild, the music is deafening and there is a singer on the video screen (I am assuming that is Julie). I am not really sure what I am supposed to be doing at this point. I get a pinball chance every so often in which I use the chance button to control the flippers in a small flat pinball area. This has happened twice, both times it said "You Lose", but all the mayhem continued... However, in the background, I hear what sounds like a doorbell. So I ran to check both the front and back doors and I find no one there. I went back to the machine and realize it is the source of the bell. I listen carefully and hear a female voice repeating something in Japanese and the bell sound continues. I turned off the machine and turned it back on. Now I hear the female voice and doorbell clearly before the music kicks in again, so I think I am having some kind of error...of course I have NO idea.

Have you run out of balls in the top hopper?

If not is the ball tray in the bottom of the machine full from your winnings?

I did have an empty hopper and I refilled it. The bottom tray is not quite full...but close Must I empty it frequently?

I think it's the Hopper that needs refilling and it may need to catch up on payouts!

I had ths sound on my Indiana Jones - when I hit a Fever and had to handle it myself without my usual Wookie Ball Lifter!!

Yes you need to keep emptying that also. I have a Star Wars pachinko & if I don't empty it when it gets full I have a very nice Japense lady telling me something (which I translate to say you need to empty it!) and that then shuts her up.

Yes. If the lower tray is full, the pre-recorded female voice and bell are telling you to empty it. The voice is a standard feature on all Lumina case machines and is not a Japanese Avon lady. Even if the reward ball try is not overflowing, the balls back up inside the machine until it trips a switch.

You can let the top ball hopper run dry without affecting the game play. A red light on the top right hand side will come on when you run out of balls and go out again automatically when you refill the top hopper.

Now that you are in bonus fever round, the "Darling" bonus door in the bottom middle of the playfield will have opened. For every ball put through there you will win 15 balls untill all bonus rounds have completed. The rounds will continue even if you stop shooting balls until all 15 rounds are done.

Congrats.. Mine is coming today as well. Hopefully there will be someone here when it arrives. If its a little dirty I wont mind cleaning(kind of enjoy it) but my last from that seller was very clean.. so we'll see.

Thanks Dishpan, I was wondering what the "Darling" trap door was and if it was working for me or against me. I have to say, this machine is incredibly loud! Lucky for me, I found a pair of earplugs leftover from my daughter's volleyball season( 12 year old girls have screaming down to an art form)

Swissmr and Birdbrain: As both of your machines are scheduled for delivery today, take notes. I have NO problem making all the stupid mistakes and asking all the dumb questions first, after all, I am a blonde
