I don't live there obviously and I have no clue what the real issues are but just based on those two commercials, I'd vote no.

The no commercial is much more convincing.
    Meanwhile, somewhere in Oklahoma.

Yeah.....I would vote no to. I like owning pachi's. And everyone one should have the right. But the last thing I would want in Virginia, is casinos. I will settle for driving to Atlantic City. And from what I here, some of those places aren't doing very well.

The Nine is a much more effective vid! Very cool footage and visuals of casinos always helps. The other vid is easy to forget unfortunatley. Lets hope they vote yes as casino owners reap most of the benefits over the States that permit them anyway thats no big surprise, so Ohio would not be unique to this.
The more Casinos and slot machines are allowed the more I hope that slot machines would be accepted as lesure products for the home as well, including Pachislos and Pachinkos.
Maybe the idea of them being illigal or leading to something sinister etc will diminish.
Casinos banned from states gets people thinking Slots =illigal therefore should not be owned in the home in any form. What happens to casinos in the law and in the media does trickle down to our wonderful hobby.

I would vote no... Sure there would be job growth, but 55% going to owners??? In Indiana 45% goes to the state, and 15% goes to the city its in, and the state is STILL in piss poor shape!!! especially the areas most traveled to get to the casino!!! The only thing the casinos in this state have done is created jobs and made the roads traveled to it in piss poor shape!!!

That "Vote NO" ad just doesn't do anything for me.

Tell you what, I wouldn't mind "table scraps" from several Billion dollars!

Y'all oughta hear the outrage on just a BINGO amendment here in Arkansas. "Oh the sin of gambling!" Yet take a trip to Tunica, MS and look at all the Arkansas license plates...and these are mostly the people that vote against gambling here!

Temporarily, go to youtube.com and search for BudgeRahe for videos. Until I get the links set up in the museum

unfortunately here in Greece we had the opposite, the "casinos" wanting to be the exclusive rulers of the Slot domain were able to get the entire electronics game industry banned, because it wasn't very fair to them to have a Fruit machine say operating at a bar or something.
this led to a major crack down which made it illegal to own/or operate any electronical game.. Yes the law didn't even discriminate against Video games, anything that ran with a program and or took coins/tokens etc was illegal. Pacman was illegal in other words. after many shut downs of places that had fruit machines, Video Games, Internet Cafe's the law was amended to allow limited operation of Internet Cafes. Yes the Evils of the Internet...

this was some 2 1/2 years ago.. after much argument etc the law was fought in the European Union High Court and well the EU found that what the then Government did was Illegal, that was last week. the country has 4 months to comply with the EU ruling

That's what I'm afraid of happening here in Pennsylvania, with the new slot parlors going in.
The wealthy casinos will end up establishing bans on all games and slots other than their own... or at least getting them regulated and highly taxed.
After all... money talks in government... and our elected officials here have already shown their greed on this.
