As interesting as it looks I still think I would make out better with the wife is I bought more machines for the $1750 than one book.

Searched the web but I was unable to find a picture to see what it looked like.

I have made lots of paper by hand. I have even used blue jeans to make the pulp for one batch!

My wife just started making paper by hand, my sister got her into it, nice for cards, gift tags, i guess. She just made some in forms, flowers, rossetes, now the crud is in a pile in an end table.

The idea is to have 40 rich friends who will pay you $1700 each for something they imagine will be worth more someday because you have to be fabulously rich to have bought it. You 'deserve' this much because, well, it takes you a year to do each book (or whatever) so you're really just scraping by on $68K a year unlike your wealthy non-artist friends.

OK, I shouldn't rant until I see one of these 'artist books'. I just know stuff produced in serial editions is rarely compelling to me...though there have been exceptions...
