Sakura / Flame Nishijin Case Lighting Question

After I finished putting in volume controls on my Sakura, I was left wondering whether all of the front lighting is working properly. I haven't had a fever bonus since, but in regular play I've noted that the raised flames on the top, top right and bottom left all light up properly, but there are no lights lighting on the more flat part of the pink flame to the left and bottom sides. Does anyone know if this is normal and does the left and bottom sides light up at some point? (I noticed a bundle of wires going down to that area so I thought perhaps there is.)

I tried to take as many screws as necessary to look under the Flame portion of the plastic in the bottom left of the front of the machine and it looks like no lights are in the area I was concerned didn't light (a shame as this seems like a natural place to put lights on the case since the machine whirls round the lights during a reach). The bundle of wires I saw going to this area appear to be going to the Ball Loan buttons and LED in the front panel.
