    Default Glass or plastic front

I'm restoring an old Sanyo Bussan pachinko machine. There are two groves in the front for protection. One came empty and the other had a piece on thin plastic that is broken and needs replaced. What should I replace these with? Do I need to fill both slots, if so is one plastic and the other glass?

    Thanks, Wally

either way is fine, 2 pieces would make the pachinko quieter, but one is fine too.

Originally it would be 2 pieces of glass. I use lexan when I do mine, because it is lighter, and seems a little quieter when the balls bounce off of it.
Two panes is the way to go either way tho.

This is my personal opinion, or of the voices in my head, and are not meant to reflect the opinion of this board.

I used 2 sheets of Lexan on mine. They look good and were quietier.
