Well, several of you know that there are videogame simulations of most of your favorite pachinko and pachislo machines, some of you have one or two titles (I have a few dozen... ). Now, let me introduce you to another type of game related to our favorite pastime: the parlor simulation. Basically, this type of game is a variation on those popular "Tycoon" games that some PC gamers might have seen around, only the point of these games is to (successfully) run and decide every aspect of your own pachinko parlor: workers, prizes, how much the exchange rate goes for, which machines to get, etc. Fun stuff if you're into micromanaging simulations. Here are some of the titles that I'm referring to:

Ohhh...now that looks interesting. I'm an administrator (in R/L) and managing dollars is my hobby, well, besides pachi sports! Where are these little marvels and how do we get a hold of them??

Good question as, because of their limited appeal to westerners and the Playstation being a dead console, they are pretty obscure but I did see the Saturn version of Pachinko Hall Shinsoudaikaiten on eBay. Beyond that, you'd probably have to get lucky or hunt them down in Japan. I actually don't have a couple of them that I'm looking for ATM. I'll post some screens if anyone would like to see any. My digicam was out yesterday so I only posted the covers.
