Yup... looks like it. No way to shoot the symbols, though... I would think.

Still... much better than some of the abominations we've seen by "salvaging" the pachinko cells, with the wires hanging all over and mounted on a piece of wood or something.

At least THIS way, the poor child has a nice coffin.

These are made to set on the counter and customers will spend their change for spins. Their is a company that makes these machines.

They are the rom and screen from a pachinko riged so token /coin slot triggers the start gate like a ball would on a pachinko

I don't know what happend to my link, but thanks Logicprobe for the fix. Yes, the translation says it's modified to sit on the counter, in a bar or karoake, to collect spare change or tokens (I'm not sure), it's what used to be called a "trade stimulator" , a place people would play their loose change for a chance to win a free pack/carton of cigarettes - not sure if it says what this one would pay out, but it does have what looks like a payout cup. It looks like a New Sea Story cell, asn is definitely, as other people said, a pachinko cell, without nails, away from it's board and likely each coin dropped spins the video.

I remember compirate posted that a while back; you used to be able to see machines like that in arcades back in the day. It's the type that remits tickets which you can use to get great prizes like spider rings and super balls.

In fact, Arby posted another one like that a long time ago on the vintage pachinko board. If you search for the term 'Donky' (the name of a company that made those cabs), you can probably find it.
