I used to buy a new watch every year at walmart for under 10.00.

I got a Kenneth Cole watch when I retired 4 years ago and have used that since then

I can get a Rolox at my local flea market for $100.00

I bought my watch new for $1 It has an LCD display,Military and Standard Time,It Speaks the Time and has 4 different alarm rings. Bells, Tone, Cookoo and RoosterCrow! Lets see a Rolex or other watch do that!!!!!!
For that price I decided to buy 40 of them and I donateted them to a Blind school so the kids could hear what time it is. I Also used to own a watch/lighter. It was a great way to break the ice in bars when people needed a light LOL A friend of mine broke it and I couldnt find another!

Personally I have a Tag Hauer which has kinetic movement, I was bought it by my parents for my 18th birthday & I am now 35 & never had any trouble with it.

    Buy cheap, usually buy twice.

I have a watch with the Raddest feature, if you know how to use it right, all you have to do is look at its hands and it will tell you the time!!!

It also knows 42 languages and makes toast!

Usually buy twice, three times, four times,..........Been there done that. I love Tag. I have had mine for about fifteen years, it was worth ever penny. Seiko is a nice watch, but I went through three them before I gave up. I am sorta rough on watches. Which is another reason to have severeral. A nice one for special occasions (this one can be cheap $100 - $200). And one for everyday use, (a tough one $500 and up).

It wasn't easy to face the fact that he had time on his hands, but the alarms went off when he realized that his days were numbered.

I buy Timex, $40+/-, analog, has to have a light, an alarm, be water proof and have at least a date window.

I don't like metal wristbands and I hate watches without numbers.

They all last at least 5 years, the one I have now 7+, and even though I use the light all the time, I still haven't had to replace the battery.

As for durability, I wear it all the time and it's still ticking! Besides the band wearing out every few years and a piece on the front that fell off years ago, it still works fine.

I guess the feature I like best is that it tells time!

Ok, time to get back to the bad puns.

Sid, if i wore that i'd probably get bullied for the year.

I ended up getting a Citizen's to save a little and then bought a new wallet with the money i didn't spend on the watch.
