In March I shared the results of our quarterly password exercise.
So you don't have to search the forums here is the summary
4000 users get a message asking for their username and password
In March the exercise ran for about 72 hours
We receiced 50 responses 37 said no - 13 gave me a username and/or password
In Jun the exercise ran for about 30 hours
21 responses, 2 gave usernames, 7 gave username and password
The Mar exercise was launced early in the morning, the June one was launched at 2pm and the security professionals sent out messages telling their users to delete the message within 10 minutes.
All our users are trained not to reply to these messages, but many still do.
Now you know why your mailbox is filled with spam every day.....
So you don't have to do the math I averaged 2.25 user names or passwords for every 1000 messages sent.
Be safe - Don't respond to request for usernames and passwords
