    Default Need Rocky Images

    Hi All,

I am in the process of assisting a fellow here in Greece who's son has come across a rocky machine.

he has taken the machine to an elctronics guy and he has fitted the machine with a transformer etc..

but now the problem is although the machine is working he fills the hopper with balls and all they do is roll out the back

I have tried to explain to him the the ball lever and how it has to be put in place but he has been unable to locate it.. unfortunately this gentleman is in northern Greece so visiting him is not an option.

would anyone who has this machine please be kind enough to take some photos for me.

i need the following images ( I ask for these just in case more needs to be explained)

    1) Image of the Play field
    2) Image of the entire front of machine
    3) image of the back of machine
    4) Image of ball drop lever

    Thanks to all in advance

    Sid

    Thanks Very Much Chris.

now i have a reference point when im talking with the guy on the phone...

I spoke with him earlier today so far have been able to gather the following info

    1) it makes a really horrible noise when its powered up. like a buzzing sort of electronic noise though i wasnt able to understand where the noise was coming from from the description given

    2) the machine may not have a dongle.

    3) he only has 15 balls in total.. and the machine is not cyclic..

oh well im sure i'll find out more in the next couple of days.. hope we can get the guy up and running...

The dr is correct the Rocky makes this noise when the hopper is empty, when I fired mine up tonight it did that until I put some balls in. I think it is its way of trying to shake any balls down. It is a bit un-nerving when you first hear it, as my only other Pachinko I have working at the moment is Star Wars & that does not do that..

ask him if there are any parts revolving while the machine is in idle.

Bunny Girls has 2 horizontal reels that turn constantly and make a lot of various noises in idle.

    he needs more balls

also some of the ball dumps are either on or off......

example is my NHK machine ..... if you ball dump, the motor keeps turning even if ther machine is empty......the motor just keeps on spinning until you press and hold the release switch again...... could be that running and also explains why the balls just come out the back.....

Thanks Tulsa - Can you believe I have had the machine for probably 2 months now, but had it boxed up from when I bought it (as we were due to be moving house). So last night was the first night I had un-packed it & played it (hense why you can see the bubble wrap on some of the pics). I played it for around half an hour, took the pics for Sid & then wrapped it up again & put it back in its box ready for the move. It looks great & is great to play

That is a nice looking machine. But only 15 balls? Egad!

Yes, the feed hopper shakes on some machines, helps keep the balls from getting hung up. My PumpKing does that when it's empty. Scared the living heck out of me first time I heard it.

yeah thats what i said too when he said he only had 15 balls...
i told him he's gonna need at least a few hundred more to get an idea of how the thing plays..

poor guy... hopefully it will all get sorted out and he'll be able to buy some more balls. and enjoy the real pachi experience...

Rocky definitely looks nice but there were a couple of things about the ROM that rubbed me the wrong way - the overly common occurrence of the Footwork SP Reach (the one in which Rocky is jogging) was one of them. With that said, the FMV is excellent and you can't go wrong with "Eye of the Tiger".

that wouldnt be very honest of me now would it.....

i couldnt live with myself afterwards...

that and all i know it doesnt work...
and that would leave me with 2 Pachinkos that arent working...

Something about Greece and Pachinkos oil and water dont mix..

    As Stuey said..

I could Have a small Pachi freak show.
COme one come all see the machines that dont work.. maybe i could charge a quarter a peak too ....
