Greetings all!...I knew I would be back soon!...I just won this Sonic Machine.

I hope it looks as good as it did on Ebay.

Milt at Stealth really came through for me...I hope that I be able to say the same about Valley Gaming.

    Stay Tuned!

I'm very happy to say that I now am the proud owner of Sonic the Hedgehog Pachinko!

Valley Gaming packed it very securely and it came through from California to NYC perfectly.

There was only 1 really small imperfection (the speaker grill has a small dent in it) but other than that the machine looks pristine!

They also included 1000 new balls. The shipping was really high ($89!)....but it was the first Sonic that I had ever seen on Ebay....and I'm still ticked that I missed out on the Pac Man Pachinko a few months ago so I went for it.

The only thing that would have been helpful would be some really basic instructions.

Ultimately though, I figured out how to fill/play it in less than 10 minutes....but the average user (ie anyone not on this website!)....may have a problem figuring it out.

Any way.....if you want a Pachinko or Pachislo....you can feel safe to do business with Valley Gaming.

Here's a photo of the machine that Valley Gaming used to sell the machine.

I'm working on an article for GameRoom Magazine about Pachinko's and I plan on doing a quick review of Sonic as well for an upcoming Japanese Gaming special edition.

GameRoom is also going to reprint my on line articles from RetroBlast about Pachislos in that edition as well.

Check out GameRoom Magazine at gameroommagazine.com or my pachislo articles at Retroblast.com

My son taught himself to read while playing the sonic adv 2 game on the dreamcast (we got tired of reading it for him, and told him to sound it out)
Now he's a nut for all things sonic related, I had my trigger finger over my sniping button on that one, now I'm regretting not doing it:-)
    Great buy! *grumble grumble*

The issue should be out by end of Summer....but my initial thoughts of the machine are that it's a really well made and a nice machine (especially for an arcade gaming lover like me)BUT not as much fun as Pachislo.

I only played with it for about 25 minutes....and you quickly get mesmorized by the sounds/lights...but I like the interaction of Pachis more I think.

But....I haven't really given it a real chance yet. It is a really good looking and colorful machine though!

...I am still interested in more video gamed themes Pachislos or Pachinkos (like the Pac Man one)...so if anyone is looking to sell one let me know!
