Well here is a mini review from playing yesterday. First off, thanks to Arby for delivering such a beautiful machine in MINT condition! I see why you all say he is the best.
Now to the review, I can only compare to my Rocky pachinko and my 4 pachislo but this definitly has the best light show I have ever seen. It is mesmerizing and to my amazement it makes you focus more on the screen. Why I don't know! Probably to make you gamble more. The screen is crisp, although not as big as the screen on Rocky. Most images are CG with clips from the movie put in at key times. The sound is top notch even though it only has 2 speakers. Top Gun is definitly interactive as others have said. At certain times you control when to shoot, thrust, move left or right, and you get to pick missions. Compared to my Rocky where you just push the button, altough that is fun too! It has varied screens and chances which keep you intereseted, but I wish there was more scenes from the movie. In my Rocky they have long sequences from the movie where you see the real charcters. On top gun you don't see Maverick, Goose, Iceman etc... Except in CG form. They should have at least put in my favorite line "I feel the need, the need for speed". Other than my small gripe I have to say that it is very fun, and I LOVE the all english. So far comparing with my only other pachinko I would say it is very close! again I have yet to see everything the Top Gun has to offer and maybe when I play more it will win out but as of right now its a dead on tie with Rocky. I LOVE BOTH OF THEM!!!!!

Nope not yet! I have been trying...lol...
I love on this machine that you can get all the balls at the end of a fever. My Rocky makes a HORRIBLE noise when it runs out of balls, the Top Gun just keeps playing then I get a BIG payout at the end!!!

Now all I need is a cabinet. I ordered one from pachinkocabinets about a month ago and have yet to receive! Hopefully soon!
I have to say that I am hooked on pachinko!! I don't know what I got myself into.

For the rest of us poor folk ... I've located Taiyo's promo web site with loads of video. The main flash video is Kool and I count 9 reach videos.

I can see what all the excitement is about. This machine is definately testoserone heavy and I'm pumped up even though it is Monday morning.

But alas, no video of Tom and Kelly, but it still takes my breath away.

I can see why feedback is so slow in coming with at least 5 machines out there. Everyone is too busy playing and trying to figure out where it all ends.

It definitly is a knockout!! I have still yet to see the Mav & Kelly!! The Battle version looks to have more video that the other versions? It shows what looks like the ejection scene from Top Gun. Im sure there is still lots that I have not scene. I have only hit the fever a few times, and it was on the same reach.
BTW - I converted my machine to cyclic and it works GREAT!!! I love it. Now I have one parlor ready (Rocky) and one cyclic (Top Gun)
