    Default Keys and Locks

Is it common for one maker of machines (Yamasa) to make them all the same from year to year (All my 1995's use the same door key) All my 2004 and 2003 use the same key. My question is.. is this common to see in other makers too?

Gaku replaces or installs (if the locks are missing) new locks. The theory is, the parlors keep the locks so most may be a generic replacement

alot of the locks have the pins removed so that a generic key can open them .makes it easy on the vendor . also the parlors change out the locks when the machines arrive and usually remove them when they get rid of the machines . so a replacement lock is installed so the chances of you having a factory installed lock are really quite slim.........

Looks like all Yamasa locks an reset are the same here. My Tekken and Neo P;anet use the same keys and to think that I left my keys in the Neo Planet and had to fight to get it out, could have saved a half hour on that.

If the parlors are anything like the us casinos, They get the machines from the manufacturer with generic/no locks at all. then they put their own locks in that way the attendants don't have a wad of keys to carry around and don't have to worry about someone with that same machine comming in and opening up the machine. when finished they take out the lock before shipping them out.
