Sankyo Wonder Powerful question

On my new Wonder Powerful machine, there are numbers on the bottom sides of the playfield the right side has even numbers 2,4,6,8 and the left side has 1,3,5,7. The machine lights up one of the numbers and after fever round the lit number changes. Does anyone know what these are for or doing?

Here is a picture of the even numbers (the 2 is currently lit).

If the numbers are starting high and going lower, it's a countdown of the fever round itself. You start with X number of rounds to play and once you've achieved so many balls into the trap door that round is over and you move to the next one until it's over.

Thanks for the reply Tulsa, the numbers don't relate to play during the fever rounds and seem to change randomly after each fever round. The coundown of balls in the fever round actually happens on the lcd screen. I just haven't found what they relate too and the Sankyo museum link doesn't mention them...well not that I can tell from the translation

Well not having the machine makes it difficult but try this link and see if you can read through the translated English enough to deciper out the meaning. It will certainly mean more to you than it does me.

If one set of numbers is blue and the other red, they probably indicate bonus mode.
Red numbers (usually odd) are "Big Bonus" (my term, not actual) and usually your chance of getting another bonus afterwards is high.
Blue numbers (usually even) are "Regular Bonus", and usually you go back to normal odds afterwards.

When you get bored with that machine, give me a buzz. I'm looking for one and get thru everywhere once in a while!
