Mod for smokers

Saw this mod for computers..adding a car cigarette lighter. I would think that the right-hand side of the front, right where I have two blue 'dots' would be good. The hole is already drilled. I just may need to make it wider.

I'll post some links from the computer mod pages. I may be inclined to upgrade my transformer to 9ams, though.

So, this weekend will be adding volume control, headphone jacks, and a lighter. Just need to find space for the toaster and coffee maker. LOL

hmmm if it was a million god i would add a battel axe and enter it into robot wars in the hope that the wors happened

The lighter will certainly tax the transformer... You better make sure you're prepared for that.

Seems like it would be a lot easier just to go to WalMart and pick yourself up a Bic and set it next to the machine.

I would not recommend this mod to anyone the transformers on these machines are not able to handle the load of an auto cig. lighter where talking in excess of the normal 4-5 amp transformers limits !!!!!!! if you want to drastically reduce the life of your transformer go for it .......... the out put of your current computer power supply (500 watt ) on the 12volt line is 18 amps that can handle the load but your 4 or 5 amp trans doesnt stand a chance .......

maybe I could make a mod with a extra fan with hepa filter that would be great for when I get those nic fits and too busy to run outside....

I been wanting to mod a computer case for awhile. I would take a computer case and cover the thing in small led light arrays, have a controller in one of the bays. You could display pics on your case, the possibilitys are endless. Mainly it would look really nice....

that frozen cpu company is only about 15 mins from my house

just take the passenger side seat out of your car and place your pachi there. That way you allready have a cig lighter.
