Default How to bolt down a pachislo machine to the stand.

Please forgive me and don't laugh... This is the biggest project I have done towards pachislo and as you will soon tell I am proud.... Now that I have bored you to death, Here we go...

First of all, I purchased a utility cart from Wal-Mart for $24.25usd including tax. I went to Lowes (a mega hardware/ do it yourself type place, as big if not bigger than wal-mart.) and purchased 4 5/16x 2 1/2in. Hex bolts, a package of 5/16in washers, and a package of 5/16in nuts. Lost the reciept but it was around $5-$6usd for the hardware.
    Tools used:

Drill, 19/64 drill bit, Pliars, 1/2in. wrench and a phillips screw driver.

I assemble the the utility cart (using the screw driver) It comes with 4 wheels but I left them off.

Now time to do some drilling!!!!!

Since two of my 4holes is going to be under the hopper, I make sure that everything is going to clear and there will be no obstructions. With that out of the way, we start drilling. I know its probably over kill but I wanted to put four bolts in this thing. So therefore I drill four holes into the pachislo machine.

    2 under the hopper.

    http://img527.imageshack.us/img527/8702/1231532dw.jpg

and one on each side of the hopper.

While I was drilling I went ahead and centered up the pachi on the stand and drilled two holes.

I used two washers for each bolt. nut, washer stand, pachi, washer, top of bolt.

After putting in two bolts and securing them to the stand, I realized that 4 bolts was definately over kill so I just left it at just two bolts.

    The underside of the stand....

Might add, unless you have your head below the top of the stand, you cannot see the bolts...

"So how sturdy is it? Are you gonna get more stitches????"

    http://img521.imageshack.us/img521/9821/1231665fg.jpg

    550 tokens in the tray.

    http://img521.imageshack.us/img521/5380/1231677te.jpg

Less than 10 (ten) tokens in the hopper.

Here is the Door wide open. No one holding the machine either...

Here is the back corner of the stand on the floor with the door open.

    http://img521.imageshack.us/img521/2166/1231707uw.jpg

To say the least I think I am safe...

i'd put a cinderblock on that bottom shelf if i were you , open that door full of tokens and you still might find it attacking you just bringing the stand with it this time!!!!!!

i found if you use a loose piece pf plywood over the junk token knockout in the bottom you drill through that instead of the machine. you just need a longer bolt.

    WELCOME TO PACHITALK!!!

if you want the machine to be more stable on the stand, I left the wheels off and the base of the machine is further towards the back.....
