Open Letter to 777heaven or any other band width thief

Thank you for stealing my band width, this has caused me to shut down all the links, so even the member suffer because of you.

You want to use the some of my videos. I said OK, BUT NOT HOT LINKING TO MY SITE, that is stealing money out of my pocket.

You should have copy them to your server and than linked to them there, you have copied on your server. Plus not only you hot linked, but you run down the video you stolen.

Any of the video you use from me in the future.
YOU WILL be moved to your server.
YOU WILL give credit to Pachitalk for it in any use
YOU WILL not run it down, that was the cheeky-ist thing of the whole screw up you have done here.

I can not believe you are that dumb, to think it was right to do this. It was a open slap for all the help we have given you.

All of 777Heaven's posts on this forum have shown him to be a considerate guy and he has brought many from the UK to this site. I'm thinking this result was not what he intended and he will take the steps to correct it.

Am I allowed to agree with both? I agree with Dattia to a certain extent, but I ALSO agree with Arby's letter 100%. I'm not dogging others but That would just down right cheese me off. I can get over them making money off my hard work, but me having to pay EXTRA cash so THEY can make extra money is going too FAR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My letter does not disagree with Arby at all. I also would be upset. I just don't think a decent guy turns into an sleaze overnight, so I would like to give him the benefit of the doubt.

That was my surprize as well. I have seen that he has been on and not even an apology on the other thread. I like that this forum seems to have so many nice and helpful people. I was lucky enough to have Rob help me out and I would think that I would help someone out from the board if needed. Greg, you have done so much for the members on this board. I always like watching your videos and can not believe that someone would take advantage of your kindness. Here someone is using your work to make money with no restitution to you. You were nice enough to let your work be used with out anything in return, just what I am sure most of us would call normal consideration. Hopefully you will get an apology.
    and a few others.

We've been down this road before with 777heaven and things he took of Bilko's work without permission and put on his own site. This isn't just all of a sudden, it's a pattern.

Hot linking Greg's material is a pure act of lazy. Ask and Greg, (the kindest man on the planet) will let you use it, but even then have the decency to put it own your own server! Don't expect Greg to also pay for the bandwidth to show everyone logging into ebay.uk so you can make a dollar!

Now here's an auction where he's hot linking directly to Milt's server. Now I have no idea whether or not Milt has agreed to this but something tells me since Milt has no chance of helping his own business since this is the UK that he's not aware of his contribution either.

I'm not sure why it's not working too but it appears this Sinbad Adventure that's hot linked to you is.

As regards Steve (777heaven) using my information without my permission, he admitted his error and withdrew the material from his website. I offered to allow him to use it provided he give credit to the original source and Pachitalk.com.

I said that he should notify me if he reposted the information so I could review it and make sure proper use and credit was given. He has apparently decided not to use the material online as I have not seen it again on his website. I now regularly visit his websites to monitor content.

I reminded Mr Hoody that use of my material without my expressed permission was plagiarism. As its author, I retain all rights of use and the copyright on such materials.

The misuse of Arby's videos and hot linking to his web server was improper and uncalled for as all Steve had to do was contact Arby to coordinate use of any of his materials.

The icing on the cake was when Arby's videos were used and then criticized for their quality. That is a bit tacky to say the least.

Many indiscretions of members we try to handle quietly behind the scenes but when tact fails, we must draw the line to protect the integrity of this website and its contributors.

Give Steve a chance, he has done alot to bring these machines at an affordable level to those of us in the UK, I have spoken to him a few times and is a very nice helpful guy and he is the reason I joined this forum, I think you will find he is away from the computer this weekend so at least give him the chance to reply before you condem him.

So my friend you are saying that it is ok for him to cause other people to pay the price, so he can sell at a lower cost ?

    or

You are saying that Hot Linking and Stealing Band Width was done with out him knowing ? Someone else had done it to his auctions
