    Default Slot Machine toppers?

you have all seen the Vegas slot machine toppers. Can you hook them up to our pachislo's and wire them in to light up? By the way what all do you have sittin' on top of your machines at home? How 'bout postin' some pics? I have some old tin (80's)slot machine token buckets from casinos on some of mine and some neon welcome to las vegas signs i got on clearance from Target....makes a good topper!

Go to the pics of your gamerooms thread (First thread under These are the days of our lives) and you will see what everyone uses in their gamerooms.

This is my personal opinion, or of the voices in my head, and are not meant to reflect the opinion of this board.

your best bet is to get a transformer to match the bulbs in it ,most Vegas topers i have seen are 12volt you want find that on your Pachi

get 24 volt bulbs for them and wire them to the light bulb sockets , come to think of it the lights are 12 volt so go ahead and wire them to the 12 vt light sockets , as I reckelect there was a thred on this to use alum foil at a light sorce to attach the lights , I may be wrong , ,Ain't the first time , any comments or , am I wrong ?

PS yup direct to the transformer would be to much juse

Funny you should mention this. I just purchased a few 2 light candle-sticks for just that purpose. My idea is to wire the White light thru a "SSR" (Solid State Relay) to the "Replay" LED. The Blue lamp gets controlled from the "WIN" LEDS.
The SSR controls the 24 volts AC to the candlestick lamps.THis should work just fine. The signal wires can be "tacked" onto the circuit board behind the LED or lamp in the front door.

My Flower Legend by Olympia has a revolving red light that rotates all thru the bonus rounds.

It looks cool with the lights out.

I was thinking of using this type...two three tier.

    http://www.happcontrols.com/accessories/111sft.htm

are the lights seperate? I was thinking of just lighting the whole thing up when the machine paid out. They are 12 v lights...is there any place to wire them in the pachislo that would deliver 12 volts?

just get more sockets and wire them in series with the existing sockets 2x12 =24 volts so you'll have two bulbs for each tier .but it would probably be easier to get 24volt bulbs instead . as for picking up 12 volts I'm sure some machines do have 12volt controls but it would be rectified from the standard 24 volt power buss and not available on all machines .I would imagine those built by manufacturers that build for the U.S. like IGT would be the ones with 12volt access although a lot of machines are using more and more computer controls so I'm sure they'll be using stock computer items to do it sort of like apple is these days ......
