Not sure if it's still there. Haven't heard back from the seller.
Way more than I'd normally spend on a vintage, but, you know... I'm intrigued by these. I haven't quite figured out why they need all the solenoids-- it seems like they could achieve the same effects without them. |

What was he asking? We've seen PF's bought for as little as 5 bucks to over a thousand.
I don't know if simply a ball would work for opening all the tulips and closing them. That would be a lot of horizontal distance for the ball to cover which in turn would necessitate a shallow grade and I doubt the ball would have enough velocity powered only be gravity. Plus it's cool seeing them open and close simultaneously. Then again, that's the opinion of someone who made a "C" in college physics. |

Ok, I've had two responses from members here about the machine. One private and one public. The gentleman who contacted me privately had already contacted the seller with an offer to buy and to pay an amount for shipping. However, he did say if someone else wanted it they could buy it. I am leaving it up to the private message person to make their name/wants public.
I have received an email from the seller and it had a few photos. The balls they have number about 190 and many are rusted so I don't think those will add any value. From the looks of the few photos that was sent of the back, it appears to be all there but unfortunately the photos are blurry and it doesn't show if the transformer is there or not. I replied to the seller and explained that I was in contact with a possible buyer and I would gladly help with the transaction and shipping (for free of course). I gave them my cell phone number. This was yesterday and I haven't heard back yet... it's 7am on Monday morning now. I'll try to put up the photos that I got later this morning... something about me needing to get to work now...

Update, just spoke with the seller.
There is no transformer with this machine. I explained to her that this may or may not impact the amount some one would be willing to pay for it. She does not want to ship if she doesn't have to and she currently doesn't have a paypal account to receive funds with. We have come to an agreement that I could function as a 3rd party to the deal by receiving payments through paypal and then I would pay her cash and pick it up. Then I would ship to whom ever wants it. So, I know that several of you are interested... I'll post photos that I have of it here shortly. |

I would just go and buy it before someone else grabs it. That way you'd have it and then sell it to whatever member on here wants it.

I'm considering that Emma but I don't know if I would pay the full $150 since it is missing the transformer and possibly other other components. So I'm still debating in my head as to what I want to do.
Meanwhile, here's the photos I've received. There were a few other photos but they were kinda useless.. the back label, the rusted balls, etc. |

I would bet that all components are there for a couple of reasons. One, I don't think when they removed the transformer in Japan that they also removed the solenoids, quite a few people on here have PF's and I've never heard of one being without those components. Plus if you look in th.e pics you can see the orange wires leading from the j-box to the inside of the machine which means in all likelihood the parts are still there.

just my two cents
i would offer less theres pieces mising and it will Not play in as seen condition i would ofer 75 to 100 depending on cell condition... It is a Power flash.. and i do agree that the solonoids are there... most non Pachinko peeps dont even know u could put power to them ya ya u wana know whats missing... the shooter spring... u can see the shooter is resting at full pull and no spring to pull it back ... easy fix but it is gone... Discount

Ok. I've got an appointment to meet with the seller at 4pm today (an hour from now) and explained that I would look at the machine and based on condition make an offer. Seller agreed to entertain any offers above a certain amount.
I also did a little reseach for you folks in the UK. I can ship this bad boy to Kent, UK for about $320 via FedEx. That on a 40lb shipping weight and in US dollars... I'll leave it up to ya'll to convert the measurements and currency! More later! |
