Default Net, built like a tank

Why are nets built like a tank anyways? They only have to make them good enough to last the two years of use and most of the time they don't stay that long. Other company's don't build them like they do and they will last in the parlors and home use here. Can it be much of a selling point to the parlor? I would think they would have to sell them for more and I'm sure the parlors don't want to pay more for some machine when it will last just as long as others.

id figure they may just take pride in their work, a machien that is built nice will breakdown less often. Im sure some of the places over in Japan have the machiens longer than 2 years also! Cant say forsure, but why do we just get some machines over here that are 5 and 6 years old?

Offer the highest quality you can, and people will always buy it, appreciate it, and respect you for it.

    well Said...

i wish more companies/people took the time to go for Quality.. if its good and well built people will buy it.. tired of all the junk that has a life expectancy of 0.... so you can buy a new one again after a few years.. the really sad thing is people are starting to accept this mentality... refidgerators used to last for 15 - 20 years.. now youd be lucky to by a new one that will last for 7. i wont start about cars.....

    damn world conspiracies.

    thanks for letting me rant..

So what do you all see as being better quality with NET?

Now that I have a Super Blackjack, I can't say that its any better built than my other two machines. One by Eleco and the other Yamasa. In fact, I would say the Yamasa machine is the best of the three. My SBJ, the door hangs loose, it even rattles a little when the reels stop. I do like the rigid reel cage in the NET. I think the hopper isn't that great. To tell you the truth my NET even smells when its on! Like warm electronics. (my wife complains about it.)

I would rate my Eleco (Sinbad adv) being the best designed. However it does seem more fragile than the other two.

The Yamasa (NMP) seems the best for being strong and well built.

Maybe I just don't like SBJ too much, next time I'll have to choose a machine and leave hype out of it.

(Ask Mark if you don't believe me.)

One man's trash I guess? I really don't know what to tell you. If you think the MNP is better made than the SBJ, then I'm glad you like the MNP. My personal opinion (and that's all it is) is the SBJ is far superior in construction to the MNP. Just those damn noisy reels of the Yamasas are enough to keep me from buying another one.
