Default Ball Stuck in tulip - Nishijin Model B

Greetings! Today I purchased my first Pachinko machine for $20, and the guy threw in a Heiwa for free. The Model B was completely backed up with balls. Thanks to the setup videos on YouTube that helped get everything clear!
The only problem left is that when a ball enters one of the two outside tulips it gets stuck. If I then barely squeeze together the tulip the ball goes thru.
I have searched around and can't find any information about this, any advice
    would help!

Sounds like the tulip isn't operating as smoothly as it should be. You may try just giving it a good blast of canned air to see if it's just a little dirty. If that doesn't work, you'll probably want to pull the tulip off and clean everything really well. No oil or other lubricant should be needed. Just a good cleaning most likely.

    Hello and welcome.
As Spyder said, a good clean often takes care of issues.
I have had to adjust the brass prongs on the occasional tulip that did not operate correctly. A slight bend in or out can make a difference.

Thanks everyone for the replies! I'm going to try and take them off for a good cleaning. So happy to finally own a machine after wanting one for years! Now just to figure out the lights in the back. Maybe a rewrite kit with new leaf switches

I'm unable to find anything about tulip removal other than to just pull it off because it's held in with nails. I'm a little scared of damaging something. Does anyone have a link to a thread with pictures or a video showing how to remove one without damaging anything?

I use a tack puller, carefully pry under the nail head or the tulip itself slightly to raise the nail head.

That was the one I was originally interested in! But it has a few things broken in the back. Hopefully I can fix it, but that's after I finish fixing this first one! Still trying to carefully get that tulip off for cleaning!

I hope so! Unfortunately it has a few broken pieces in the back.

thanks again to everyone for the advice. I ended up bending a fondu poker I had laying around! That was able to get the nails out nicely. After some cleaning and fooling around I figured out that not having the tulips nailed in too tight was all I needed. After fixing the left side I just loosened the nails on the right side slightly and it was as good as new! (I think, I've never actually played pachinko in real life before I got this machine! Haha)

now im in the process of cleaning up the pins. Starting to look real nice!

Quick update in case anyone else has tulip issues and can't find anything. They would not open up today. Turns out I put the pole coming off the back of the tulip on top of this other piece in the back, when it is supposed to go underneath like in the picture.
