    Default First time Pachinko owner

Just aquired this Pachinko from a friend of mine that has been sitting in his garage for years. It was very dusty and hanging on the wall. It needs a bit of TLC but it does shoot the balls. I really know nothing about them have always been a Pachislo guy, so I'm new this but I'm excited about getting it going and adding it to my collection. I definitely would like to get the lights working but I can see there is a part missing.
Any help would be awesome. If you need more pics let me know. TYIMG_2812.JPGIMG_2813.JPGIMG_2814.JPGIMG_2815.JPGIMG_2816.JPGIMG_2817.JPG

Looks like all the parts are there. That is a Model C.

You will need about 500 minimum, rust free, pachinko balls for it to work correctly.

I forget which terminals are positive and negative on the model C; try a 9V;connected to a wired battery holder; push the wires into the orange and white terminals and see if anything lights up.
The lights are not required and won't add much excitement.

Nice looking machine I always liked the Nishijin model-C. Hook a 9 volt battery to the orange + and white - terminals to see if they light, I think the socket under the terminals is to the light that is missing to the main attraction. Here are some wiring diagrams that may help http://pachinkoman.com/page31.php

nice looking machine should clean up great.. you are missing a dust cover but missing it will not affect game play at all.. fill the hopper and give it a whirl... like stated above power the lights on the orange and white tabs.

take a look at this for the basics..

Cool machine. I love the three slot spinners.

Do you have the lower ball track cover? They are simple to make yourself, or replacements are inexpensive to buy. Good Luck!

Thank you all for the fast replies I will try everything and photo you back when finished. Can I get a pic of the lower ball track cover and the main light that is missing only because my friend may have them kicking around in his shop so if I have a visual I might find them. Yes I'm excited to get this going thanks all.

Your Lower track cover should be in position here: Lower Track Cover.jpg

Sometimes they are white as well.

    You can purchase one here

It might be missing the center feature light. Sometimes, there is no center light and the lights are on shooting handle side of the play field (right side?)

Going from memory, the model C had an area for bulbs that was formed into the plastic and on a printed circuit board on the back mechanism. You'd have to remove the back mechanism to see for sure. It's held on with squeeze locks. In your third picture, one squeeze lock is visible and it is yellow plastic. The pictures below are a different model C...
Take the bulbs out and test them with a 9V battery (touch one battery post to bottom of bulb and other battery post to side of bulb)

Recommendation, on pic 2814 the fuse holder tab is broken off, what would be the best way to fix.. In-Line fuse holder...solder both white wires to the fuse holder, or because there is no real current connect both white wires together and eliminate the fuse. don't know any suggestions.. ty

If you use a 9 volt battery, you can safely remove the fuse. I would use an inline fuse if you plan to use a wall powered adapter.

Neat machine by the way. Careful though, they tend to multiply.

In the photo of the "power block" there is a white female input. I think I've only seen these on machines that are powering a second source such as solenoids or a power center feature from a Special Elec or something of the sort. In the close up of the rear of the center feature it almost looks like there could be a solenoid under the plastic toward the rear right. Am I seeing things and maybe the extra power input was just for parlor use?

Disconnected the broken fuse holder cleaned the micro switch added a bulb on the 15 payout light and it works...Hopefully I think I have it all squared away with everyone's help and the next photo will be the finished product. I just need to get more pachinko balls...

Just finished the restore think it came out pretty nice considering it was in the back of a garage full of dust and rust. I think I'm still missing the center light but machine works great, the low ball light works as well as the 15 jackpot light. Thanks all for your help much appreciated.IMG_2849.JPGIMG_2855.JPGIMG_2850.JPGIMG_2851.JPGIMG_2853.JPG
