Default Fever Queen Pachinko not paying out

So I fixed up the Fever Queen Pachinko with help from users on this site, thanks again! I haven't build a cabinet for it but brought it in the rec room over the holidays for the kiddo's to play with. It works great except we haven't hit any jackpots? The reals spin and spin, all the lights and sounds work and everything, but no jackpots. I noticed that lots of the balls spill out the back of the machine, (so yea need to build a cabinet to catch those, but I never have to refill the top hopper on the top of the cabinet, it just stays full. Is there a setting button I'm missing or something?

    Thanks for any help!

Are you saying that the reels never match up or that the machine never pays out anything.

The odds for it I think are 1:243.6
That doesn't mean that you will get a win after 244 spins.
Think of it more like a roulette wheel with 243 no win sections and 1 win section.

I once went over 900 spins before a jackpot on Cutie Honey then had 7 in a row.

The reals do spin yes and it's fun to watch them, but nothing lines up yet. Is it suppsed to payout every time the reals spin? If so, how much and where should those balls be falling to? Thanks!

There are various models of Fever Queen. On close inspection it might be CRF.クィーンⅡ
Look on the front of the cel or printed on the circuit boards on the back.

That model has payouts of 6,7 and 15 balls.

You should get a payout of 6 balls for every start pocket hit (reel spin) 7 for the side pockets and 15 per ball in the jackpot tray.
If you aren't getting any balls paied out but reel spins. The pocket sensor is working. so you must have a payout fault.

Start with the basics. from the full tray of balls on the back at the top. Follow the slope down from the tank down to the right. On that slope. Make sure the ball stop is raised (I don't have a victory frame so not sure what it looks like)
But have a look in daverobs manual. On page 7

    http://pinballdave.co.uk/pachinko/ma...ory_Manual.pdf

If thats open. check the balls are flowing down to the payout assembly. Might be worth dumping the balls and removing the payout motor.
Don't forget to try a reset using the reset button on the PSU.

I don't see any "side pockets" for the ball to hit to payout. Either it goes in the middle up on top which then falls down to either side of the reals and then into the middle pocket at the bottom of the machine... or the balls find the middle bottom pocket of the machine somehow by just bouncing around. I think your Kind machine might have a different set-up?

There should be 1 or 2 hidden holes each side down the side plastics at the bottom. Online pictures don't give clear view, But judging by the nail layout, They should be there.

So I found the hidden pockets on the sides! There are 2 on each side, total of 4, and the main pocket in the middle. Found the problem as well, the ball stop was down! DUHHH! I feel so dumb! I had to dump about 3 loads of balls through it to cycle through all the payouts that were backed up, then the 7 error changed to "-" and it seems to be working great. But it only pays out 6 balls at a time for each of the pockets, both sides and middle. Still no 777 jackpots yet. I'll post a couple pictures of the ID tags on the game because I'd like to know anything else I can about the game. Thanks again!

If you can check the front of your playing field. Normally in the top right. You should see a little sticker with the machine name again. It should also tell you the odds and the payout values. Just look for the one starting CR

So I just don't get how to trigger the 7 and 15 ball payouts? Any ideas?

The 15 ball payout will happen when you are in a fever round. Fevers happen when you get 3 of the same number on your spin. It's hard to tell from your photo, but drop balls in all the various pockets. See if certain pockets pay 6 and others pay 7. Generallly the start pocket will pay differently from other pockets and the drop gate will pay the most. My guess is your start pocket pays 6, other pockets pay 7, drop gate pays 15 when in fever mode.

Well here is my take. The fastest way to get a jackpot is to keep playing. I was at a pachinko parlour today and I hit a 1/319 machine in 20 spins. I also played a 1/99 machine that was on 350 spins (played by someone else) and I hopped on and got a jackpot within 40 spins. Your machine is a 1/249 so if you want to hit it just keep playing it. I have seen a 1/249 machine at 1300 spins before. My lupin the 3rd machine which is 1/399 took me about 500 spins to hit my first jackpot on it. So it's all luck man. Once you hit a jackpot you will probably hit more because it will go into a rush mode making the jackpots trigger more often for the number of bonus spins given. Good luck be prepared to keep refilling balls on a jackpot

How can you keep track of reel spins? I doubt you are just counting...

Data counters or battle counters as they are sometimes called. In the pachinko parlors of Japan, each machine has a counter that tells you how many spins since it last hit, how many fevers in the last day, historic tracking, etc. A lot of players will use this information to pick which machine they want to play. Some of us use them in our home setups, but in a home environment they really only provide additional flashing lights and tell you how many spins since the last fever. Maybe someone here uses them for something else. If so, I'd be interested in hearing what else you track.

Any idea where I can get one cheap? Or maybe one that isn't super expensive but nice.
