Default Sanyo 76-ish model b with 2 problems

Hi all, I think I have a Sanyo 76-ish model b if I have id'ed it right. I have cleaned it up mostly and loaded it up with balls for a test. Things were working ok and suddenly the jackpots stopped paying out to the player tray and bottom catch in front and starting dumping out to the blue catch bin in the back. Not sure what changed, but I hope there is an easy reset and I don't have to take it apart again. How do the jackpots payout on this model? It seems like I was getting some in the top tray and some (like half) in the bottom before I ran into them paying out the back.

The second little problem is the center piece. It tilts left and right alternating each time you get a ball in there. The tilt right works great, but the left side sticks. In the picture there is a white tab on thee back of the center piece that rubs and catches. Maybe it got warped a bit on it's journey from the 70's? I know I did! Anyone have any thoughts or advice or maybe ran into something similar along the way?

Love the site and all the great advice. This is my second machine and this forum helped out HUGE with getting my first one going.pachinko.JPGIMG_0578.jpgimage.jpgimage.jpg

Try dumping all the balls and reset the dump mech. As for the center, you may need to take it off and dissasemble it to see whats binding up.

Did you have it apart and polish the payout ramp post. Those comet II's are known for sticky ramps.

Great advice. I checked the ramp and gave it another good clean and the sea saw as well. Where specifically does the little washer on the seasaw go? The tiny one? I have it between the seasaw and the lower part of the metal bracket.

Turned out the pay out problem was the small yellow piece the ramp dumps onto. I saw a picture of it on here and assumed the picture had it in correctly. My bad for not being a little more thorough with the research. The image was on a different topic and I just matched what I saw and it was not correct. I will try to figure out the center piece next......very carefully ......

Tiny washer is probably under the seesaw against the plastic back.
