    Default Magnets and balls

I was putting the first machine in my pachinko wall tonight, added a couple balls to the top tray and since they didn't fall immediately out I dumped the rest of the bag I had in hand in, I imagine about 250 balls.... and... it rained balls inside the 'wall' I'm making and on the floor. There's a gap between my base and the actual wall so I used some rare earth magnets to grab em a dozen or so at a time from a spot I couldn't see. I didn't rub the magnets back and forth on the balls to transfer magnetism, but is just picking them up with a magnet bad?

Not sure why the images are tilted, they looked right before uploading. I ended up using a knob with a T-Nut under it to lock the pachinko in place. The knob's bolt goes through the 2x4 and T-Nut that is between the 2x4 and the pachinko, and presses into the wood strip on the top of the pachinko. I carefully opened the pachinko a few times and it seems stable enough, but I'll likely add another fastener on the right.

I've been using a big magnet on a stick sweeper thing to pick up balls for the last decade and nothing bad has happened yet!!

Some of the parlour ball managment systems use magnetic drums to raise the balls up about a foot every so often as it would be impossible to have one slope from the last machine to the ball lift.

Thanks, I wasn't sure on if I'd turn the balls into magnets themselves I happened to have the magnets in a bag up there because I bought them when I got the knobs, so just used em.
