Sweet beach/ocean themed Mizuho!

Hi everybody, I'm ususally more of a modern pachinko guy, I couldn't help but pick up this beauty that popped up on craigslist 20 mins from me, I've already got a nice powerflash so wasn't reallly in the market for any vintages that surely could not compare to it the "holy grail" vintage! Buuuttttt the fact this one is way more colorful (after all these years), I believe it's got a formica or some sort of laminate backgroud (?) instead of the far too typical water stained/faded paper background that holds up much better over time, it's an oddball manufacturer, with rather beautiful chrome detailling I must add! It was kinda dusty, but seems to have been decently cared for indoors, no rusty chrome. The theme is pretty cool with the dolphins and bikini girl. Some older gentelmen was selling it for his brother; was asking $120 but managed to get him down to 80 after quite a bit of haggline and explaining all the stuff I have to fix (dirty ball paths, no transformer, no ballls, payouts are buggy at best). Probably overpaid for it in retropect; but it was too pretty to just walk away from! I guess this will be my winter project to disassemble, clean, and hopefully get the bugs with the payout system ironed out......more to come on this one I'm sure iit will pop up in the techical support section!

I assume it's a later 70's model (77-79)? (note the oddball rotating side pocket dolphin/fishes) Anybody know the year of manufacture?

I've got a mizuho. They are fun to play with. I keep my eye open for anymore that might pop up, great find. I really like those side pockets!

If I am not mistaken I believe that means the machine went into a parlor in December 1978 and the expiration would be December 1979. I am sure someone will correct me if I am wrong.
