    Default Rookie Cop? (Taiyo, 2000)

    Hi guys!

Someone in my city is selling a Rookie Cop pachislo by Taiyo. It appears to have been originally released back in 2000 (http://www.pachislodb.com/db-ROOKIE+COP.html).

He's trying to get rid of it for $80 or so. Is this a good price for an older pachislo in good shape? I realize it probably isn't as fancy as newly released ones but I like the little characters on the front and since I don't have any machines yet (pachislo OR pachinko), it might be a good thing to get to hold me over until I finish deciding which Evangelion pachinko I want

Let me know if any of you have played them or have an experience with other Taiyo machines from around this time period.

    Thank you!

I don't have any machines of this brand but I think around $80 is good for a well working machine. All the better if you get 500+ tokens to play with. (tokens will run 3-5 cents each.)

I enjoy the older machines and the art work like that and find them very fun to play. I have quite a few of the older machines in my home bar, you really cant go wrong...as always offer a little less to see if you can get it cheaper so you can buy another machine, if not 80 is pretty fair. If it has both keys and tokens to play its a great deal.

I have just bought tokens at 7 cents each and I considered that a good price as most want $10 cents each

I find it easier to buy more machines (that have the extra tokens) then to buy just the tokens

Good point....the only pachislo I own cost $80 (90's Cutie fruit) and came with at least 500 tokens AND an oak stand, so the machine itself cost less than tokens...
