    Default super sea story help

i dont know the exact name for my pachinko machine, super sea story, new sea story, etc. but my problem is that after we moved and set it up, something is not right. usually during gameplay you get bonus ball that feed into your main tray. 5 balls here and there as you get some target on the board. however these balls are not coming out anymore. we havent been able to hit a bonus yet to see if theres any payout on the bottom tray, but definitely something wrong with the main tray. also there is a momentary button on the back side and next to it is an lcd that displays the numbers 1 and 3 in alternating flashes. i will get some pics up soon, but if anyone has any idea, please let me know

Hello ncs_ts and welcome to posting

Sounds like some balls are jammed up somewhere. Take a look from the hopper down to the payout motor and beyond. You might find a clump of balls stuck by some small debris to free up. You can also open the front glass and drop balls into the various pockets to check that they payout.

    Welcome Aboard

I'd have to agree. If it was fine before you moved it, it is possible that the payout motor may have become dislodged so the balls don't flow down freely to the motor.

theres a momentary switch on the back of the game. if i press and hold, it drops balls into the main tray. so i dont think its jammed.

here are some pics. this alternating flashing between 1and 3 is what im not sure of. but if you look just below the number, there is a small momentary switch. thats the one i can press and hold and balls will fall into the main tray, they just dont come during game play like they are supposed to

Here's a couple threads that may shed a little light on the error codes. Presuming 1 is the back hopper needing a refill and 3 is a jam or sensor fault.

took the machine apart last night and found the problem.unfortunately i didnt think to take pictures. but up towards the top right where the clear plastic ball stopper is, the piece after that is where the problem was. the balls separate into two different paths and each path has a small lever, im guessing as a ball counter. once of those was stuck. so the balls coming through only came down 1 path. its covered in black plastic so it needs to come apart to get to it, but it comes apart very easy. but because there is still 1 path open, it leads you to believe that there isnt a jam, however there is.

Wise to check all paths. Then you will find enlightenment

Now when do we see a picture of the front of the machine?

while we are here, does anyone know what this orange button does? i have pushed it and pushed and hold, but it doesnt seem to do anything. also close to it, is a black dial. similar to that of an analog alarm clock adjustment knob. no clue what that does either

does the master reset work with the screen on? the screen doesnt flicker or reset when i push it in. the black dial is not a volume adjustment. i had to add one to turn the volume down

Turn the machine off. Hold the reset button, then turn the power on. The only other pots fitted are normally for shooter power or sensitivity.

You should be able to find one online. That machine should take a standard Omron key that fits most moderns.
