    That chrome won't take long at all to shine up and be so clear you could shave by looking at it I'd start there just because it's going to make all the difference in the world and unlike cleaning the back of the machine, it's a visible sort of feedback. Check some of the pinned threads for tips and tricks for cleaning, I just use Turtle Wax chrome polish and cleaner.

    Of course, there are lots of things to start with, it's all up to you

    Welcome. Neat machine. Power connects to the white and orange. Original would be 10 vac..but marked on yours 6 volt. Maybe someone changed the bulbs.

    Also your lower ball track cover is in upside down.

    Before I start my rant, I just want to say thank you for being here. 3 days ago, I was completely lost, and now I have been FOUND,,, (can I get an amen?) Seriously though, you guys are awesome and totally appreciate you.
    Ok. Couple of things: I keep hearing "nice machine" Is that just pachinko courtesy, or is it a nice machine? I got it from an abandoned home (after getting permission from everyone involved with the purchase of course), what would be the value of something like this fully restored? Please don't get me wrong, I have every intention on proudly displaying my vintage novelty. My wife had one as a kid, so she and both my children are excited to get it going. Just curious.
    Also, you say "10 vac..but marked on yours 6 volt, and your lower ball track cover is in upside down. Lets pretend for a sec that I'm a bit ignorant (at the moment) with my new toy.
    I looked for a lower ball track cover, obviously I failed at that one.
    For power, Can I just use a regular house extension cord, spliced of course...?
    I have some balls in there but I'm confident quite a few are missing,, how available are replacements?
    One more thing, when the ball gets to the end it falls out of the vertical square tube... Do i just simply put something under to catch them?

    No, it's nice.. doesn't look like parts are missing in the back, playfield is intact, no major water damage, etc. A lot of these old machines weren't treated well over the years and it shows.

    Yeah, just put something under there to catch it, you can use your imagination here, there's no real default solution.

    Here's your lower track cover;

    Replacement balls I had to go to eBay to get them, this guy had flat rate shipping, other members might have cheaper reccomendations;

    No real ideas on splicing or value, sorry

    DO NOT PLUG IT IN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    your new so lets keep it simple..

    if you have one of these starter with this

    https://www.amazon.com/Eveready-Volt...4379246&sr=1-7

    as stated above your machine is marked 6 volts... see what the lights look like if there bright and nice then your golden.. if there dim then move to a 9 volt battery.. if your confident then locate a wall wart and use that as a plug in source.. make sure your voltages are in like with what ever battery source you fine that works best.. start low and work up..

    DO NOT PLUG IT DIRECTLY TO THE WALL!!!!!

    Value is hard.. its what someone is willing to pay... our area has lots of Pachinko.. lost of machine for high dollars and every once in a while i see a fair priced one.. once ya get it cleaned working an loaded with balls ya might be able to get 100.00 for it.. if your having a good day a bit more.. but thats about the max around hear... sure there are the strange people that have more money then brains and they might pay way more.. but if you look around you can see there not rare..

    Got it...
    So a 6 volt battery... Then how do I connect it? A copper wire? And so you're saying once I figure the best voltage, pick up a wall wart and then splice it so it can fit into the little holes for the power supply?

    I've been told that machine holds 1000 balls.. Is that correct? About how much will that cost?
    also, (you guys better not laugh) I don't see a score board.. Is there a goal to achieve for each game? Is it just watching the ball fall and blinking lights?

    A piece of speaker wire, 22 guage or so will work fine for the power connections.

    The goal, to win as many balls as possible. I play to try and get all the tulips open.
