    Default Battle of Vader Questions

Hi guys, new to the board and VERY thankful it's here!

Got a Battle of Vader machine a couple weeks ago and it's great BUT, I'm pretty sure I'm missing out on something. I have run probably 400 balls through it and have never once hit Vader Rush (and the balls ARE going into the "IN" area up top). I have got the spins a dozen or so times but NEVER a payout. Seems that I should have got SOME pay out. The hopper up top is full BUT I am getting code "7" on the back of the machine which I am told is an empty hopper warning? Also, have never got any 3-D scenes, etc.... yet.

Would resetting the machine be a good start? Seems like pressing the red button next to the power switch is the way to do that?

Anyway, thanks in advance for any thoughts and I will poke around the forums here shortly to see if this has already been addressed.

    Thanks in advance!!!
    -Eric

Well not getting a vadar rush yet wouldn't be my concern. Remember these are gambling machines. Designed to take in more balls than they pay out.

I don't have this frame anymore. But from memory. Just double check the curved stopper is up at the end of the slope from the payout tank on the back. Then check the payout motor assembly is seated correctly and not moved in transit. Also try dumping yhe balls out of the tank using the dump lever. To confirm the balls can flow freely from the tank.

Thanks! The balls do dump out. I will check the other suggestions. Where is the payout motor assembly?

OK. So, the balls do flow out when I pop up the red gates. Also, I've reset the machine and held down the little black button by the LED on restart and still getting error "7" even with a full hopper. Still yet to get Vader Rush or a payout of any sort. Question on the red stopper gate up top. Should that be down? I don't see any mechanism to raise it on a payout, but when I lift it up the balls all pour through... Seems that the little white gears up there should stop them? Anyway, thanks again SO MUCH for the help! I've watched a couple YouTube videos from "rubberratt" on a similar machine that have helped.

Yes. Thats the curved stopper. It needs to be in the up postion and not pointing into the ball channel. I think there is a clip for it to sit in.
Its useful that if you do ever need to remove the payout motor. You don't have to empty the top tank.

Well, I found the problem!!! There is a little red lever on the payout mechanism that was in the wrong position and was letting all the balls through. I flipped it up and problem solved AND I get no errors now! Amen!!!!

Still haven't got a Vader Rush nor have I got any 3D sequences yet, but the machine is paying out. Thanks for the help!!!!
