Default where does metal wire release connect to? daiichi machine

    daiichi back.jpg

restoring a daiichi that is missing the metal wire that the arrow is pointing to in the picture above...

i can seee where it connects to the level for the winning ball chute but i cant figure out where it connects once it enters the plastic cover. i had it apart and its still not apparent. i believe it should be pushed down by the see saw somehow but examining the whole see saw and the mechanism didnt reveal an obvious place where this wire should connect.

    help! thanks!

The top of the wire goes through a hole in the plastic and is not connected to anything on the top.

A winning jackpot ball pushes down, the pivoting arm pushes the wire up; resetting the jackpot lever arm.
    If that makes sense!
