Default Hanabi Hyakkei stop button inconsistencies

Hello everyone! I just acquired a Hanabi machine and I've noticed an issue with the stop buttons. When pushing in order from left to right, sometimes after pushing the middle one, the right one will shut off and not respond. If I tap the middle button again the right one will light back up and work normally. If I push the buttons from right to left, there seems to be no problem. Any ideas?

Hello Behimiron and welcome to the group!

I don’t have this machine but perhaps there is a short or loose connection in relation to the buttons. Did you try unplugging and reconnecting the connections to the stop buttons and inspect the wires for damage? Sometimes it’s just a loose connection or it could be the button itself.

Thanks PeteyBob. I went ahead and re-seated the connections as best I could. After I did that though, I took a close look at the buttons and I think I discovered the problem. Depending on where you put your finger on the button, part of it can get just slightly stuck in the cabinet. It seems like it might just need a good cleaning. I guess I probably should have checked it out a little more before I went crying for help.
