Default Hi, need help identifying an old Aladdin Pachislo machine

Hey, my family got this several years ago from our neighbor and I was wondering if any of you can identify this machine. Not in the best condition, but everything seems to be there and it still works, though one of the wheels sticks a bit. However, it seems like all the identifying stickers were most likely peeled of by a re-seller called FunMerchandise that left a small name plate on the inside wall. I've looked around on this site and others and have seen a number of Aladdin machines but none are the same as this. Also, it's hard to see in the picture but in the sun above the "ALADDIN" it says "A-TYPE" in gold. Thanks and let me know if you want any more picture of it from different angles or if there's anything you want me to check on it.

Your machine is the first Aladdin machine, released by Sammy, in 1989.

Type A means it has a Big Bonus and Regular Bonus Rounds.

A Regular Bonus consists of 8 spins, paying 15 tokens per spin.

A Big Bonus consists of 3 games of 8 spins, paying 15 tokens per spin. (Kind of like winning 3 Regular Bonus Rounds).

Thanks Wayne-Ooo, I was trying to figure this one out as well. Looks like a simple and fun older game.

Oh, cool. Thanks very much. Just plugged it back in and my brother is having fun with it, he's good at getting the camels. Turns out we have some of the tokens as well, thought quarters also work in it, which is nice.

We're still up in the air as to what we're gonna do with it, since we're trying to cut down on our stuff prior to moving next year, though as much fun as my brother was having with it we might end up keeping it, lol. But for now, at least, I'm enjoying just learning about these things and I'm trying to see if it has difficulty settings.

I know this thread is older than dirt but THANK YOU! I have the exact machine you show pictured here Wayne-Ooo right down to the Niigata lable. We've had it about 20 yrs and every so often I'd try to find information on it. All inside tags being in Japanese didn't help I thought the manufacturer was Niigata so I believe that was hindering my search. I've come across similar like the one that started this thread and the style but the payouts are at the bottom not the top, ect. etc... but not the exact. If you see this post I have one question just for future info.... how the heck do you figure out who manufactures these things?
I am SoOoOoOoo happy I registered here today! Thank you, thank you! <---love this 'lil guy, lol.

    Welcome Aboard

The maker would be on the data plate/sticker. Of course in this case, Sammy will probably look more like サミー

サミー Got it! Thanks Drunkenclam. Not to sound too noobish but is Sammy a nickname?

Thank you all for the help and warm welcomes! Here is a picture of my baby. I read the great post about how to clean and may make an attempt. It's pretty clean but a bit dusty inside. All I've ever used before was canned air.
