Lord of the Rings backlight not working.

Just got a lord of the rings pachislo today and got the error messages cleared.
Game comes up and plays 100% but there's no backlight on the LCD screen. You can shine a flashlight on the screen and faintly see the images.
It looks like the pink and blue wires run to a little board behind the display board and I'll pull that out tomorrow and take a look at it.

Does anyone have or know where I can get a replacement LCD screen if necessary. The $$ I have in this machine it would still be worth fixing it.

Had several pachislos over the years, but not current models like LOTR. Do they still not include a volume control?!?!

You have to install your own volume controls on any I ever owned.

It's worth seeing if the back light invertor is working. Failing that. You will have to remove the screen and look for a model number on it
