New Gundam RX-78 Pachislo: Game wont respond to credits, wont spin reels, play..

First off... that is a really nice machine.. sucks to be giving you issues.

The power supply on this machine appears to be the same as on my Sankyo/Bisty machines.
I am going to concur with mandoman that maybe the key switch is not working properly on the box.
That little jingle you hear in the first video should be playing once the key is in the ON position.
Try power the unit down fully, then switch the Key to the ON position (turn to the right) and then power it back up. That jingle should be heard almost instantly. you should then be able to press the red button on the power supply and get the odds to change on the LED in the door...

There might be a bad solder contact on the inner key switch, or the PS could just be faulty.
I'll try to get a video demoing what I am talking about.

Hello

I just bough the same machine from Akimno and had the same issue. After putting it back together you are going to turn the rest key and the machine will power up. I hope this helps.

ok so I didn't have as much as a problem as you did. I just watched your video and I will have to think for a minute and get back to you. Have you tried Contacting Frank I know that they have a couple more of the gundam machines in stock. Anyhow let me think for a bit and I will get back to you.

FIXED!

Traced issue to the JOYSTICK CABLE. The cable coming from the back of the spin stick going up to the board above the reels (inside a plastic green box) was bad. I noticed when I gently tugged on the wire: LD6 LED on the board turned off! I pryed the plastic box off the connection and was able to snug it perfectly. The game performs flawlessly. Amazing sound! 4 speakers? Awesome!
