    Default Sammy Gao Gao Kids

    Hello all,

I recently acquired a few pachinko machines, which included a Sammy Gao Gao Kids machine. Everything seems to work, except the machine will not pay out. If you hit the center that causes the reels to spin, they do, and it does go into fever mode. Fever mode seems to never end, the large pocket in the bottom of the machine closes, the music stops momentarily, then the fever mode starts over again. The small pockets do not pay out either. All the balls seem to get queued up, but they don't drop through. Pictures attached.

The machine had more than enough balls in the hopper, and it looks like all the switches and sensors are correctly depressed as far as balls being in the machine.

I took the machine completely apart, to make sure nothing was visibly jammed, and still no luck. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Here's the requested pic of the back, and a picture of the payout mechanism with the little door that covers it open.

    Hope it helps, thanks.

Your first pic in post 1 looks like all the win balls are backed up.

I am a vintage guy...so that would just be a guess.

    Have you cleared those out?

I nearly stripped the machine down to it's individual parts, and yes, I cleared the win balls out.

I believe that because the machine isn't paying out wins, it's just queuing up all the win balls.

Sorry, not much help. I only have 1 early modern with machanical linkage to the payout.
There must be a switch or signal loss to payout control.

I'm sure someone more familiar with it will be along shortly.
    Nice machine by the way.

If I were you, I'd remove the payout motor mechanism (the black box the balls feed into) and inspect and clean the passages the balls go through. There could be a ball jam (or dust bunny, packing peanut, ect. lodged in there) or maybe the payout motor died...in that case you would need to find a parts machine. Also check all the connectors to make sure they are all plugged in properly.
