Default new member needing a little help getting this little gem working

Hello every one ive been wanting to get a pachislo for while and today i was lucky enough to come across a monte carlo for $50
the issues so far ive found is powers on fine the transformer is putting out 29.5v ac
on the power supply at the fuses are 5.5v ac,
so far ive cleaned all connections and tried several times resetting it
the machine powers up part way ( lights come on and stay on they do rapidly blink.
the screen flashes on for a second and so does the spinning wheels before staying off when first turned on
i can get a warning to pop up on the screen by powering on the system and unplugging the connector with yellow wires and 1 black, which stays on for about 15 secounds before going away
all buttons do work ( checked with machine on pushed each button and watched led lights on back side of door light up with each corresponding button push
wins does show and can change from 1-6 with button on back of the door, push spin lever and it goes to 0
the power supply has one green light on and one red everything is in Chinese so dont know what they mean

any ideas on what i should try first

Sounds like your in reset mode, turn the key on the power supply and try again. Always a good idea to wait 10 seconds after doing any thing.

Cool Re: new memeber needing a little help getting this little gem working

You were right after being up most the night I took apart the power supply and found when who ever changed out the reset switch had crimped the insulation of the wires, so after stripping the wires back and soldering them in the system came to life only to find the a alarm hp when cashing out, ohmed the hopper motor and found it shorted, so I've ordered a new hopper for it off eBay
