    Default Repeat reel patterns

I recently picked up a Sammy Pachislo machine. Everything seems to work fine, with one exception: I keep getting the same pattern repeating on the reels. Bell -- cherries -- white 7. It doesn't come up on every spin, but it comes up way too often. Sometimes 2 or 3 times in a row. There are other patterns that repeat as well. Also, there are some symbols that never come up -- for instance, the watermelon.

The only board that I've totally eliminated is the stop board, by disconnecting the 30-pin connector and grounding the stop pins one at a time. I can't find any information about the stepper motor control. I'm assuming most of the work is done on the main board. I even tried a main board from another machine, different model, and got the reels to spin and stop - same pattern! So, I don't think it's the main board either.

So any help would be appreciated.

    Thanks!

I would have to say, it sounds like every pachislo I played. Also the way the reels are laid out, it favors certain patterns. Which after a while of playing become obvious. It's not true skill stop. It will pay out when it wants too. You could try changing the odds, to a lower number and see if that gives you a bit more scope.

I set the odds level to 6 and started playing 3 tokens -- definitely better! Thanks!
