    Default Lotr error issue

First off, Hello everyone I'm new to the group and glad I found it. Secondly, Happy Thanksgiving I hope everyone has a Great one!

So I had been on the hunt for Lotr pachislo and I finally found one a week ago! But unfortunately I'm having some issues with it. I keep getting a E1 error code, I clear it out but it keeps randomly coming back. Does anyone have any suggestions to what it could be? I removed and cleaned the hopper as I thought it might be the problem (coinstuck or just dirty). I Was able to play about 10 minutes and it error again. It really is random, it could work for 1 min or a few but it can not be played continuous without error. I have tried finding material online but haven't had much luck just that it seems to point to the hopper?? Any help is appreciated thanks all.

to the site that Never closes Have you done a odds rest ? If you could post clear photos of your machine and the problem areas . The members here can help you a little better if we can see the machine under power .

Thank you, I'm not sure if any of the dip switches are in the correct positions or what else it could be. I'd assume if the dips were in correct it wouldn't work at all but I'm not sure. If anyone owns one or has any ideas as to the issue just let me know. Thanks again!

    オーバーフロー (Overflow)

Maybe a short on the overflow tray. Or the wiring from the psu to the overflow hopper damaged.

Just looked up the code but it says that means the hopper is full which is not the case so guess it time to pull out the meter.

Did you try unplugging the Overflow sensor wiring from the power supply?
What if...the HOKEY POKEY, is what it's all about?

I think he means, leave the overflow prongs disconnected altogether. Normally to the right of the hopper is the overflow tray, it has 2 prongs in the back. When the tray is full, the tokens touching the prongs complete the circuit and tell the machine it's full. Trace the wiring back from the prongs to the psu or circuit board and pull out the plug.

This machine has no overflow tray or "switch" like that. Literally only connection off the Hopper is to the power supply. Trying to post a pic but can't from my phone give me a few.

It's not a switch, it's just two bits of metal that stick out.

The transformer has been screwed in place where the prongs would be, to the right hand side of the hopper.
With the power off at the wall socket. have alook around this area for evidence of any leads that are missing or moved or trapped then look at the back of the silver PSU box on the left side of the hopper.
