    Default CR Cowboy Bebop

This weekend I was at an anime convention and got Steve Blum (voice of Spike) and Mary E. McGlynn (voice of Julia and ADR director) to sign the side panel of my Cowboy Bebop pachinko. Their voices aren't used in the machine but I can't help hearing them in my head when I play the it, having seen the series so many times. After a short discussion we agreed they should have one for display at their recording studio lobby. So now I'm going to track one down for them. Soon there will two more happy pachinko owners in this world.

They had six machines, all non-cyclic. They charged $5 for 250 balls and filled the top hopper. Instead of playing out a jackpot, they let you pick a prize like a DVD or key chain. The machines were Trigun, Eva 6, an early Eva (not sure which one), Ranma 1/2, Macross Frontier, and Eureka 7.

Just like Japan! You RENT the balls! $5 for 250..."Give me $20 worth please." Then watch the "anamie convention Yakuza" meet you at the door!

Just to follow up, I got Mary Elizabeth McGlynn and Steve Blum their Cowboy Bebop pachinko machine. I used the seller Chumsize used for his Eva 9 and FromJapan to FedEx it to their studio. I went ahead and opted for the cyclic mod. Everyone seems really excited about it and they haven't even opened the box yet.

So Fromjapan are still using FedEx to the USA. There was concern that their shipping calculator was no longer allowing it.

I haven't noticed any changes in FJ's shipping options. FedEx still comes up as a choice in the Charge 2 shipping options.

Others had problems using the shipping calculator before buying so as to get an estimate on cost.

Well they finally got a chance to power the machine and seem genuinely happy with it. A lot of their fans seemed to like it as well.

I'm relieved the machine worked out of the box. Thanks Chumsize for the review on the seller.

I used a seller on Rakuten. They seem to have a good selection plus I needed to purchase a plug-and-play machine.

Here is what they have for this model:

Shipping from Japan, particularly a full machine, is pretty expensive. If you check out the yahoo japan section of the for sale section of the forum you will find a lot of useful info for purchasing these kinds of things from Japan.

Thank you very much. I just love the looks of this machine. Would anyone know of one available state side.

It was roughly $400USD. $150 for the machine. and $250 for priority FedEx shipping.
