007 Slot - Not working - Loud noises not jackpot

Hello,
I'm new on the boards. John from Stealth Home Amusement suggested posting my issue for help.
We have a 007 (James Bond) slot machine that has stopped working. We have reset properly many times. We have unplugged, unplugged from the power supply and reset again. The noise comes after trying to reset whether the door is opened or closed. It's not a jackpot sound. There is a 'credit' display (left side) with 00 displayed. Below that is the 'win' display with a code of 'CR'. The right side display of 'hit count' that only shows the odds number. We've also changed the odds number and reset, etc. Nothing. We have the manual but no 'CR' code is in the troubleshooting section.
Tokens also aren't accepted and run straight through. The reels do not spin, no buttons work.
It was in storage for almost a year but had always worked great. Not sure if the machine is just not allowing for a full reset like it should or something else we are missing.
Not sure what else to do.
I appreciate any thoughts and information!!

make sure the bottom wheel of the hopper turns freely by hand, make sure you have tokens in the hopper.

most problems are from poor wiring connections,

try unplugging and reseat any connectors you see. do that with the machine unplugged
