Looking for help in sourcing 24VDC pachinko motor. Please direct me to the best forum so I can source this part to fix my machine.

    Welcome Aboard

A picture would be very helpful as well as the machine name, Also are you sure its the motor,
Some of the CR machines stop working because of a bad dongle or loose connection.
Try a post in the pachinko technecial support section or maybe one of the mods can split and move this post.

Did the machine work in the past? What happened to make it stop working?

    Hi Drunkenclam

thanks for getting back to me. The machine worked when I got it home. The firing mechanism never worked smoothly. I would get a good shot every once in a while. Below is a pic of the motor that i was told was the issue. I don't have a pic of the front but can get one.

    any help would be appreciated.

With different manufacturers fitting different motors for the past 30 years, finding an exact one can be a nightmare, or at least a long wait. But at least we know it's a Nishijin now, an early one too.

Its not ideal. But I'm sure someone in the past put a generic motor off the shelf into a machine. As long as the output rpm is about 60-70 rpm, it's fine. But trying to get a cam on is hard.

The only shooter motor on YJA at the moment is a Sankyo.

So am I up a pachinko creek without a motor. I have access to a maker space that might be able to cobble something together. Where can I get more details to find out what I need to make this happen. Would using the Sanko work. What is YJA. If you had a pic of the front would that help.

You have a picture of the machine? The name? Particularly the Nishijin frame type... have a few old Nishijin's laying around. If I have one of the same frame I might be of help locating a replacement. The frames I have are the "High Performance", "You Got it", and "Y&O model".

I think the same motor is discussed in this thread:

    http://www.pachitalk.com/forums/showthread.php?t=49918

Looks like they were able to find a replacement from
    Juno

If I remember correctly these motors are common on the "High Performance" machines from the late 80's to early 90's

Although I did say in that thread that motors don't come up regularly and they were very lucky with their timing.
