    Default My new pachislo 4-reel BUT!

    Hey

    I bought a pachislo kinnkuman 4-reel, have played for 2 hours and have not hit one jackpot or anything.

    Is it something i should do some switch or reset or something ?

    It's always worth resetting the machine and changing the odds setting. People seem to favour 3 or 4. All of mine are set to 4. Even then they can go for a while before hitting the jackpot.

    Saying that. Sometimes the skill stop idea comes into play, if something different of special is happening on the screen I've hit 3 red sevens without it going into pre jackpot hints.

    The way to reset the odds on your machine is to open the door and turn off the power. Turn the reset key to on. Turn the machine back on. You may get some light or sounds indicating that door is open or that you have the reset key turn on. Ignore them. Either in the door or on the credit number, you should have a number displayed: 1-6. 6 is the easiest odds, 1 is the hardest. There will either be a button on the inside door of the machine or on the power unit. Press it until the desired number appears. Press the spin knob for at least five seconds to set the odds. Sometimes the number will either disappear or turn to 0, depending on the machine. That is normal. Turn the reset key back to off. You should hear an audible click and your insert token light should come on and the machine should work normally. If it does not, repeat the procedure.

    Hello

    Welcome to PachiTalk,

    Here is some info that explains how to reset a pachislo, as part of this process it includes how to change and set the skill level, you must follow all steps carefully

    "How To Set the Skill Levels of Your Pachislo
    HOW CHANGE ODDS:

    "TURN YOUR MACHINE OFF FIRST"

    1. Locate internal key switch, and insert key.
    Note: In order to change odds, machine must be in idle mode with no tokens/coins or credits being played and off.

    2. Turn "reset" key switch to on, to access programming mode.

    3. Turn on machine now.

    4. Depending on machine type, a number from 1 to 6 will be displayed on one of the LED meters on front door. (please note on some models the numbers could be displayed inside the machine)

    5. Locate and push Skill button. Depress button and notice movement of number being displayed in LED meter.

    6. Once desired level is displayed (1 to 6), push down on play handle (Joy Stick) for 10 seconds, and depress both "BET CREDITS" and "COLLECT CREDITS" buttons to lock odds level into machine memory.

    7. Turn "reset" key back to off.

    8. Machine should immediately initialize. If not, turn power switch to the OFF position, wait 15 seconds and turn power switch back to ON position.

    Also just to confirm some additional info (from member Chrisdice) regarding hard reset

    Two switches on the power supply:
    - One requires a soft reset at the end of a bonus.
    - The other pays out all tokens at the end of a bonus.

    For these switches in most cases off is in the down or right position. The for off and on are:

    無 = off

    有 = on

    There are two sizes of tokens for pachislo: one is 25mm, which is slightly larger than a quarter. The other is 30mm, which is the size of a half dollar. Most of the pachislos take the 25 mm tokens. Both sizes are readily available on ebay. Check them all out before buying because the prices vary widely.

    Most likely it will take the 25 mm tokens. I checked the pachislo information database website. Usually if the machine takes the 30 mm tokens, they will mention that on the entry for the machine. If you are a member of the pachislo information database website, here is a link to your machine: http://www.pachislodb.com/db-KINNIKUMAN.html

    Being it is a newer machine, 2008, I'd think it would be a "Credit Only" machine.

    You can try to change to "Cash Mode", by holding in on the cash out button, next to the spin lever. If your machine allows cash mode the credit meter will change from displaying "00" to displaying "--".

    I think this machine came direct from Japan, maybe it has an auto play credit add fitted. As also a request for tokens has been made.

    I think you're exactly right, after rereading.

    Take some pictures of the inside of the door. Pay close attention to where the token acceptor plugs in. And all the connections for the buttons, there is probably an auto credit function wired in somewhere. Does it pay out tokens?

    Can't see very clearly on the iPhone, but it does look like the token acceptor has been unplugged and something in its place, located on the lh side, inside the door. Need to follow the wires and see where they go.
