Does this look like anything is missing? The seller said the "ball launch mechanism needs repair" but when I asked about it they don't know what is wrong. I just don't want to go and egg it and find out it is missing something.

    Thanks for for any help,

The shooter is in the down position...I can't see if the spring is there or missing. Everything else that I can see looks intact.

I don't know anything about vintage machines, but, it does look like just a spring problem

My guess is the 'shock absorber spring' on the end of the shooter that contacts the ball is bent, causing the shooter to hang up.

Is it just me, or is the frame missing? Based on the one photo you provided, it looks like the machine was removed from it's frame.

Shooter spring is there. I see it in the first pic. It looks like it is disconnected and that the bearings are a little gummed up. All easy fixes.

Ok, so I picked it up. It is is good shape and I think everything is there. I have not gotten to play with it to see why the flipper is sticking but will try later. A few odd things. There is a tulip at the very top, I highly doubt it was always there. I don't think I have ever seen photos of a tulip at the top and it is different than the others. Also there are 4 nails missing right below it and the top missing nail on each side is very close to the tulip. Other than that the lock is removed. It looks like it is a 1973 but the sticker looks like it is a 1974. The center feature is either a dragon or a tiger I think. It came with an oak cabinet as well and looks to be a couple hundred balls. I paid a whopping $20.00 so I am pretty happy. Here are some pictures.

Ok, so just getting to look at it and if you look at the picture in my last post behind the flipper you can see a clear plastic piece near the hammer. It is getting caught on that. Also if you look below the nut where the hammer attaches to you can see a black rod hanging down, it is not in the way but clearly not supposed to be Judy hanging where it is. I don't know this model so not sure what it goes to. I don't know much about the models I do know so I am even more in the dark now. in need to look again at mopars model a video. Is there anywhere else I can learn more how it all should be set up? Thanks for any help.

I also meant to say I do not think the center feature is original either. If there were nails in the holes where they are removed, no balls would have a chance to go into the sides of the feature, only through the tulip to get into it. Here is shot of the top of the feature.
