Default Not sure which machine would be better to get, please help

    Hello,

I have never played pachislo but am thinking of getting one. I was looking at two machines and was not sure which is better and what a fair price is. One is closer to me so that helps a little but I want to make sure I get whichever would be more fun/neat.

One is named Kung Foo Lady 2 and does not have a video screen.
The other is named Cyborg Soldier 009 and does have a video screen.

Both come with about 500 tokens.

So what do you think? If you which would you go for and why?

    thanks in advance,
    Mike

I had a Kung Foo Lady and it was a fun machine, japanese style that teased you a lot and music with great drumming

Thanks for the reply. I did see the cyborg soldier in a video but could not find the other. Do you find video vs no video is something to swing you one way or another? Is one type more fun typically?

    thanks,
    Mike

Sorry, also what would be considered a fair price for either type? I really have no clue.

    Thx!

How are they priced? I have experience with neither, but if priced similarly would go with the newer model. That said, I'm a big fan of the older, simpler machines but find that the louder/flashier machines are played more often.

Locally, i've seen prices for these things go up over the years. I still have a personal max of $200 or less unless it is a premium machine.

thanks for the reply. The newer one is actually cheaper, they are asking $125 firm. The Kung foo lady 2 they are asking $200 but say the price is negotiable. The Kung Foo lady is much closer to me though as well so there is that. I prefer simpler as well but my kids might like the flashier better. I really do not know what to do...

So looks like I am gonna grab the Kung Foo Lady 2 for $140 with about 500 tokens. Is that a decent deal or am I over paying?

    thx!

Yamasas are good machines. I don't think you can go wrong and the price is fair.

Thanks all. If all goes well I will be trying it out in a few hours. Gotta figure out how I will sneak it into the house.

Hi, so I picked up the Kung Foo Lady 2 and it is pretty cool. In fact my kids went nuts over it. My youngest daughter who finds pachinko machines too loud was totally into playing with it. I do have some questions and will also post pictures.

    1) on the front there is a red button with a little screen above it on the left and a silver button on the right near the coin slot, what do they do?

2)this one is multi-part. inside where the power switch is there are other buttons as well. I am not sure what they all do. So if you look at the picture, the orange little button stirs the coin bin (why?), the green switch they told me was to do a reset, they said you switch the switch then press the green button then hold down the joystick on the front for 2 seconds to reset. Is that right? What does the red button do?

3)this one is about gameplay. There is a fourth reel that on occasion spins and stops, the music changes and then as you play through that you win a lot. Like every spin for a while. Is that normal? I don't quite get it.

    4) last one for now. Where is best place to get more tokens?

Other than that the machine seems to play well, is fairly clean and really no issues. Weirdly the back has bottle caps glued to it that I will take off. The person I got it from had no idea why they were there.

    Thanks,
    Mike

the 4th reel is your tease reel, its there to tease you and make you keep playing by making you think you are close to a bonus round
