    Default Light Lenses

I just perchased a savanna machine, and want to completely change the theme to a sports team or something of that nature, my concern is i want to replace the red side light lenses to orange. How would I go about this?

    Red face Re: Light Lenses

Sorry I don't know if my previous posted correctly, I want to make the red side lenses and top lenses orange. It litterally just got delivered to my home and I'm at work. Are those glass or plastic? Glass I can strip and re-paint I think, Plastic on the other hand I have no idea how to make those orange.

If this is the Savanna Park machine, it is the same one I have. I believe the plastic coverings are the only things that would need to be changed as I don't believe the bulbs are different color and the plastic covering is what gives them the red color. If it is the same machine than it has the small LED light screen on the right hand side of the reels. During bonus games this shows different savanna/animal themes that I imagine you would not be able to change so I am not sure how well the conversion will go unless this part wouldn't bother you.

    Good Luck and Welcome!

Sammy used that frame style from 2000 to 2004 and made 22 different games, in that style of cabinet. The lenses are plastic and molded in the red color. All of the 22 different games have the red lenses, except for one and I think it is kind of a multi-colored lense with some orange in it. That game is called "Big&Baby", so I guess if you could find one of those machines the lenses would fit your machine.

Just a thought but you could try some automobile amber tail light repair tape... tough part would be finding one with none of the woven texture you usually see in duct tape and that allowed enough light through.

thanks for the help, I'm going to attempt to remove the jackpot reset key and install a button tonight. Since I got this machine for $75.00 I'm not to worried if I end up putting 300.00 into it and making it exactly themed as I'd like. Going to do a baseball theme I think. Maybe I remove the side display and put a small screen in that could play baseball clips that are triggered. I'm going to go pretty in depth hopefully and I'm hoping to get it done in the next year.
