Hey all. I'm having the same problem with my "Azteca", the HE message and the dinging noise when credits exceed 50. I don't want to do anything major without some guidance. How do I get to the sensor on this machine, if that is the problem? Thanks.

Does it spit out tokens then go to error or does if go straight to error? The first is normally a sensor fault, the second can be more serious. A little thing you can do is empty the hopper of all but a few tokens, then WITH THE POWER OFF turn the disc at the bottom of the hopper by hand and confirm it turns and fires a token out the front.

It goes straight to error. I turned the disc and it did spit out tokens. Thanks for your quick response.

Next simple test is disconnect the motor from the PSU and apply voltage to it. To make sure the motor and gearbox is ok. A 9v battery should be good enough to confirm the motor turns and you can see the disc turning, although a battery might not have the omph to spit out a token.

I'm having the same issue as this person but with my Time Cross game. I'd like to know how to change it so it spits coins out before reaching the 50 credits if possible.

Mine does the same thing except I get an E-1 error code, alarms, game play over. I tried cleaning the sensor as directed. I don't know where the sensor "eye" is so I just cleaned around the sensor best I could. Got the bonus and still error code and alarms. Can you help?
