    Default Battle counter installation help

I bought 2 of these battle counters.

    ¥¢¥µ¥ÒÅŵ¡¡¡¢£¥×¥Á¥¹¥Þ¥¤¥ê¡¼¢£¡¡¥Ç¡¼¥¿¥«¥¦¥ó¥¿¡¼¡¡¥Ñ¥ÁÍÑ¢£ - Yahoo!¥ª¡¼¥¯¥·¥ç¥ó

Looks to have 2 sets of 24 volt lines and multiple sets of signal input connectors.

It came with a wiring diagram that I can take pics of if needed but need a little help with which signal wires to hook up to my star wars pachinko and my Jurrassic park machine by fuji. Do I tie up all 4 of the 24 volt wires together? Only use 2 of them?

Also the call button is a given but what are the other 2 buttons on the left side of the counter for?

    Thanks!

I just added a battle counter to my JAWS machine. Fortunately BigBearSteve prewired it for so it was pretty much plug and play. Mine only had one set of power wires that I connected to the transformer.

I think DrunkenClam has quite a bit of experience with these. You might want to pm him. Also, I am sure pictures would certainly help. I also saw that Compirate is online. He is very knowledgeable, maybe he can offer some advice.

What Starwars machine do you have? The one in the Lumina Frame with the r2d2 figure, or the newer Starwars Darth Vader with the light saber.

Good PachiTalk thread about hooking up the asahi-miina-21e battle counter. Some of the information may apply to your counter,
as it is made by the same company.

The red/yellow wires are usually your power supply, and need to hook to the 24v side of your transformer.

I just brought 10 of those Asahi Miina

Anyhow. You probably have 2 lots of 24vac because in the parlours all the counters were daisy chained together into a feed. You should only need to use one set per counter, But make sure the others are insulated.

    Pics would be helpful

Look for these on the labels, you most likely want to use the Contact Input "接点入力" connections.

The output connections are used to signal other lights/sounds or for parlor monitoring.

You can cut the wires and connect them or use these connectors: 2-CONDUCTOR LOCKING CONNECTORS W/ LEADS | AllElectronics.com

Ok thanks guys, I followed compirate`s code and was able to get the counter hooked up to my star wars pachinko in the lumina frame. One question? The counter has basic lights on and after hitting a start pocket and the spins are complete it flashes several colors and then counts up by one number on the counter. Is this the way they are supposed to work? Does it just make random lights during this time and on fevers only? Are the lights supposed to sync with the lumina frame lights also?

    What do you guys think?

    Thanks again!

It lights up on a start pocket hit. Cool mine didn't
Well yes. It will only light up during a fever and the high probability time following a fever. The graph is more interesting. After you played the machine for a few days, the stats will start forming. One of the important ones to watch is the start pocket one. As on fever this will reset back to 0.

Well that clears up a bunch of stuff thank you for that. One more quick question? Is there any way to reset the the counter before playing? Also other than the call button. What are the other 2 buttons for? One cycles through different stats I think? History? The other switches to a screen that says max?

The one button cycles through stats over the last several days, the other is the best (highest) day. There is a remote for these to reset them, but not easy to find. They have an internal clock so after several days everything should go to zero. Can't remember if they need to be powered for this or not though.

The graph is the number of starts till you get a bonus.

I'm not sure if there is an internal lithium battery that helps keep the clock going. The remotes do appear from time to time on YJA but at between ¥4000-¥8000, the cost is not worth it just to reset it and the clock to GMT. And as to how to use the remote

    Hi all,

These Battle Counters have 75-150(sometimes more) parameters that can be set. These range from minute timing values right up to how long the lunch break should be !!! The remotes are the only way to adjust these settings. Some of the counters I have can be reset by holding certain buttons on power up, but your results may vary. Aside from that, the remotes DO reset and clear the counter. They usually have capacitor or flash memory, and some of them need to be powered on so the clock can run. I have found that you have to leave them off for a VERY long time before they reset themselves

The basic battle counter operation should be...

Pocket hit counter counts up on pocket hit
    Light show on Big Hit
lights blinking back and forth after big hit, and during high probability mode.

Once I get the counter working like that... I'm done
