Neo Magic Pulsar stuck in odds setting mode

I have a Neo Magic Pulsar that has been sitting for a while.

Trying to fire it back up again and it is stuck in odds setting mode. I can change the odds but trying to hold the stick down for 10 seconds and release does nothing. It almost seems like the stick isn't working. I checked the cable going from the stick to the board and it looks OK.

What else should I try?

No, a light turns on with every other button press but not with the stick.

If no light comes on when pressing the spin knob down ,then thats the first place to check.The sensor is dusty or not not connected properly.Clean the terminals and make sure they are tight.If it was working before then it should need a good cleaning.
